Dr. Vivian Ebrahim, MD

Meet Dr. Vivian Ebrahim

Dr. Vivian Ebrahim is a board-certified Gastroenterologist who provides high quality, comprehensive care for patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal ailments at Texas Modern Gastroenterology.

Dr. Ebrahim was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Rockwall, Texas. She earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in History at Southern Methodist University. She attended Texas Tech University School of Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Ebrahim completed her Gastroenterology Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Ebrahim is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

She has practiced in East Texas for the last few years and is now proud to call Sulphur Springs home.

Dr. Ebrahim enjoys spending time with her family and her sweet son Max. She loves to cook Egyptian food, be involved in her Coptic Church community, travel with her fantastic husband and adorable son, and spends a great deal of time with her extended family.

Dr. Ebrahim is a proud member of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Mena Milad, MD

Meet Dr. Mena Milad

Dr. Mena Milad is a board-certified Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive digestive care for all of his patients at Texas Modern Gastroenterology. His philosophy towards patient care is to treat all patients as though they were his own family members with high quality, evidence-based medical care.

Dr. Milad was born in Egypt, but came to Texas as fast as he could. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Baylor University (Go Bears!). He then went on to the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas. Dr. Milad then completed his training with a Gastroenterology fellowship at Texas Tech University School of Medicine – El Paso.  Dr. Milad is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He has been serving the East Texas community for years and is proud to continue caring for the people of East Texas.

Dr. Milad is an avid gardener. He loves and collects Japanese Maples and knows everything about them. Do not bring up the topic of Japanese Maples unless you want to hear him talk about them for at least an hour. Dr. Milad also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, as well as serving in his church.

Dr. Milad is a proud member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
